Curious Alice

Curious Alice is inspired by the legendary literature ""Alice’s adventure in Wonderland"" written by Lewis Carroll, illustrating the fantasyland of little Alice. It is an interactive experience combining fairy tales, illustrations, and VR, jointly presented by V&A and HTC VIVE Arts and produced by Preloaded. This VR scene will be based on Icelandic artist Kristjana Williams’ specially commissioned illustrations.

The audience can be transformed into Alice, jumping into the rabbit hole, following Mr. White Rabbit to find the missing gloves, solving the caterpillar’s puzzle, visiting the Red Queen’s croquet garden to join an unfair game with the pokers. Selected chapters of the work will be exhibited at at the ""Alice: Curiouser and Curiouser"" exhibition at the V&A Museum in London in 2021.
